From Saturday, 23 March – Monday, 25 March, all Senior Agriculture students have the chance to have the ultimate Royal Easter Show Experience with Mrs Temessl! Often known as the Queen of the Show, Mrs Temessl will allow the students to gain access to a wide range of experiences and get involved in the showing and judging of pigs at the Show.

Additional Information
Students need to bring work clothes (that can become very dirty and smelly), plastic bags (to bring these dirty clothes home – sorry parents!), dress clothes for judging days – PCS Ag shirt and nice jeans or work pants and boots, casual clothes for travelling, night show and showground tours, hat, sleeping bag or swag, all of the other things you need when travelling and staying away from home (medications, toiletries, pyjamas etc).

Cost for the excursion is $100 which covers all accommodation, travel, food and entry to the Show. This cost has been subsidised by the school and by the Senior Agriculture levy that is part of the fee structure for 2024.

6.00am Leave PCS
12.00pm Arrive Sydney Showground
Tour of show and facilities
Get pigs ready for judging (washing etc.)
Night show in main arena

Sunday
Judging Day for pigs
5.00am Wake-up call 
Feed and muck-out pigs, finish washing pigs
Oil and Powder pigs
9.00am – 5.00pm Judging

Monday
5.00am Wake-up call 
Feed and muck-out pigs
8.30am Young Judges begins
12.30pm Paraders begins
2.00pm Leave Sydney Showground
8.00pm Arrive PCS
