We are delighted to share the incredible accomplishments of the PCS 14s rugby team at the recent NRL 11-a-side gala day held in Dubbo on Thursday 15 June. Our boys had a memorable day, displaying admirable sportsmanship and determination that truly made us proud. Throughout the day, our team faced formidable opponents and showcased their skills with unwavering dedication.
Here are the outcomes of their matches:
- Game 1: PCS vs Gilgandra – Our boys secured a commendable victory with a score of 16-0. Their efforts set a positive tone for the day ahead.
- Game 2: PCS vs Wellington – Another impressive performance resulted in a well-deserved 24-10 win.
- Game 3: PCS vs Dubbo Anglican – This match had everyone on the edge of their seats. Both teams fought fiercely, and our boys emerged victorious with a narrow score of 18-16.
- Game 4: PCS vs Orange Anglican – The final game of the day showcased the team’s dominance as they triumphed with an impressive 32-6 victory.
With an unbeaten record throughout the day, the PCS 14s rugby team has now secured a spot in the NSW Northern Semi-Finals. We eagerly anticipate further details regarding the date and venue for this exciting upcoming event.
We extend our appreciation to the parents and family members who travelled to Dubbo to support the boys and thank Mr. Westcott for driving the team bus. We would also like to acknowledge the invaluable guidance provided by our super coaches Mr Hooper and Mr Steve McGuire.
