The champion runners in age group were hailed as Kings and Queens of the Mountain. There were a record number of participants on the day, with more than 30 qualifying for the State Cross Country Carnival being held in Sydney this Friday.
A series of obstacle courses were also set up by the Year 9/10 PASS class under the watchful eye of Mrs Wilson. The obstacle courses were fantastically set up and run, and proved to be a big hit with the students on the day. The SRC donated a $50 Big W voucher for the winners of the Primary and High School courses.
The carnival was another close one, with Discovery pipping Endeavour by just two points – 203 to 201. This means that Team Discovery completed a clean sweep of all three sports carnivals this year, making them the champion sporting house. Well done Discovery!
