It was a lovely Tuesday when the School Senior Choir and the Senior Chapel Vocal Group went to Forbes to compete in the Eisteddfod. We competed against Daramalan College who came all the way from Canberra. The PCS Senior Choir performed brilliantly, singing Consider Christ and How Far I’ll Go, and coming second to Daramalan. The PCS Chapel Vocal Group also performed against Daramalan College. They also sang beautifully, authentically worshiping God with the songs Glorious Day and What a Beautiful Name. It was a very close competition, but our Chapel Vocal Group edged out Daramalan by one point, winning their section. Additionally on the day, the Eisteddfod announced that PCS was the overall school competition winner, receiving a prize of $500 that will go back into the Primary Music program. A massive well done to all the students who performed, to Georgia Mayo who worked hard to teach the pieces to the Primary students, and to the classroom teachers for they did to get these students prepared for the Forbes Eisteddfod.
