PCS Kindergarten students had a great time on their first excursion at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo on Thursday 11 April.
Kindergarten experienced learning all about animal habitats and living with wildlife from the local zookeeper.
The elephants and hippos were a massive hit with the students and they even managed to attract the attention of a very a curious cheetah and tiger, that actually moved closer to the fence of the enclosure to get a better look at our kindergarteners.
The day ended with a final visit to the Galapagos giant tortoise and our students were able to have a very up close look at these creatures as they were feeding.
Kinder had such an amazing day, it was no surprise that most of them slept on the way home.
A huge thank you to Taronga Western Plains Zoo for having us!
