On the morning of Monday, September 18, we saw nine Year 11 students present their speeches as part of their 2024 School Captain nominations. Lily McCormick, Marcus Moss, Xavier McDonald, Thomas Fredericks, Mitchell Unger, Georgina Greenland, Abigail Heard, Isobelle Moss and Matilda Wilson all did a wonderful job speaking in front of next year’s high school students and presenting their thoughts about student leadership and why they would be suited to lead the school.
Following the speeches, the students and staff all voted. The two students with the most votes will be named as Captains, and the next two will be Vice Captains.
The Captains will be announced in Term 4 during the Presentation Evening on November 9.
Well done to all those students who have put themselves forward to lead our school!
