CWA Intergroup Speaking competition was held on Monday, 19 June, Narromine. Primary students Grace Mayo and Evie Brown both were invited the opportunity to present a speech on the day.
Grace presented a speech entitled ‘The Future of Books’ and Evie presented a speech entitled ‘The Magic Hat’.
Both girls spoke confidently and engaged their audience with their speeches.
Evie had a fabulous experience in speaking in her division for her first outing in the CWA speaking competition; great job Evie! Grace was awarded second place in her division, well done Grace!
High School students MacKenzie Lees, Alex Sammut-Paul, and Hannah McIntyre represented our school on a competitive platform at the next level of the CWA Intergroup Speaking competition.
The competition was extremely close and our students displayed impressive speaking skills and unwavering confidence. While they did not secure a placement, MacKenzie, Alex, and Hannah valued the experience they gained from their participation and we congratulate them on their efforts.
