Our Year 7 and Year 8 classes have been busy sculpting this term during Visual Arts.
They have had fun creating figure sculptures in the style of Alberto Giacometti, a swiss sculptor who was a prominent 20th Century artist.
Our students learnt to create a human figure out of wire and then used plaster bandage to add shape to their figures. They then painted them.
I was impressed with the uniqueness of each piece.
Well done Year 7 and 8! You are a very creative bunch!
