On Wednesday, 3 April, 20 students from Years 3-6 travelled to Condobolin to participate in the Peachey and Richardson shield. A team of Year 3/4 students and a team of Year 5/6 students each played three games throughout the day against some very challenging opponents. It was wonderful to see both teams using their skills of sprinting, passing and tackling as they made their way through some high scoring games. It was also excellent to see such high levels of sportsmanship and teamwork displayed throughout the day.
Thank you to Mr Denmead and Mrs Nunn for organising the excursion, Mrs Ballantyne for taking photos on the day and to everyone who came to show their support on the day.
